This yeast strain is recommended for beer fermentations, particularly for "malt forward" light to red top fermented ales. With its mild phenolic character, it produces a unique stone fruit/berry note that can add complexity and depth to your beer. This strain type has a relative low capability to metabolise Maltotriose which gives it a disctinct full bodied, rounded and slightly sweetish result in the end product.

With an attenuation degree of 67% and medium flocculation, PTS-900BCE is a versatile strain that can help you achieve consistent results in your brewing. This strain is a great choice for achieving the unique flavors and aromas that you desire in your beer. PTS-900BCE is of the known ‘‘bakers yeast’’ strain that has a long history dating back to ancient times, making it a fascinating and meaningful choice for brewers who are interested in the history and culture of brewing. Try using this strain in your next batch of beer and discover the unique character that it can bring to your brews.
